Can I install this system myself?
All of the instructions required to assemble the satellite dish and install the modem are included.  Installation is relatively simple but rock solid fixing and very accurately pointing of the dish and good connection of the cable plugs requires much more skill than is immediately obvious.  Dish pointing requires nuts to be adjusted to an accuracy of 1/6th of a turn if the transmit beam is to be properly centred and the required rain margin achieved.  If in doubt, pay for a proper job to be done by a qualified installer.  The installer will also carry out the initial terminal software configuration.   If you do your own installation we will not guarantee your equipment or service. There is a minimum fee of $495 for any installation help provided by Link-Sat Communications.
